Masterbox new products for November 2015
British Infantry, Somme Battle Period, 1916
5 Figures Set
1/35
MAS35146
The kit consists of one plastic sprue with parts for the
assembly of 5 figures of British military men of Somme Battle period, 1916. The
story of the kit is the group of British soldiers who came out from the hell of
an attack are now listening to new instructions from their officer before the
next attack. The kit's special appeal is the characteristic mess of the
soldiers who were in the fight and non-statutory elements of their uniforms
showing recognizable aspects of their front-line-trench combat. The nuance of
this characteristic mess makes a good emotional contrast with neat appearance
of the officer. The figures are animated very well, and interact well with each
other.
They can be used both all together or separately. The kit can be used as both an independent vignette or together with accessories and models of this period from other manufacturers.
German Soldier-Bicyclist, 1939-1942
With Photo-Etched Parts
1/35
MAS35171
The kit consists of 3 plastic sprues and one sprue with
photo-etched parts allowing the assembling of a figure of a German soldier with
a bicycle. This kit is highly detailed and the modeller can assemble it in
different configurations depending upon the cargo that is fastened on the
bicycle. There is standard variant, carrier of mines, carrier of panzerfaust
and carrier of a machine gun. Note that equipment that is included in the kit
that is not used will become a good parts source for a “modeller’s collection”
and will be rich material for use in other dioramas or on other models as
additional accessories. A main feature of the kit is the inclusion of a large
number of photo-etched parts that allow assembly of a museum level model. If
the modeller does not want to use them, the model looks quite well without
them. The figure of the soldier is very expressive and allows for the creation
of both an independent vignette or for use with accessories and models of this
period from other manufacturers.
WWI MK II "Female" British Tank,
Arras Battle Period 1917
1/72
MAS72006
“MK II “Female” British Tank, Arras Battle period, 1917” -
The kit continues the series of military tanks of WW I. It consists of parts
placed on 5 sprues intended for making the model of a 1/72 scale MK II British
Tank, Machinegun Version, in Arras Battle period, 1917. The kit is noted for a
high degree of detail (taking into account 1/72 scale), thorough work on the
small parts and a high degree of the correspondence to the original. Emphasized
are the rotating machine gun turrets and the barrels of the machine guns that
move up and down.
Photo-etched parts are not included and decals are not
either as this exact kind of tank did not bear any inscriptions.
There will be an inscription "Commemorating the 100th
Anniversary of WW I (1914-1918)" on the box.
These kits will be
available through all of Masterbox’s distributors after
November…
