New LifeColor “Easy 3” Contrast and Desaturation Sets

Lifecolor is sold in the UK exclusively by Airbrushes.com and I have used these paints to great success on my own models – I am pretty excited about these sets and am looking forward to applying them to my vehicle collection.

Lifecolor has produced a new series of paint sets studied to achieve in a fast and effective way, depth effects on your armour models. Each set includes 3 paints to use in step-by-step sequence.

Firstly the darker shade is laid down, going right into the cracks, crevasses and undersides of the vehicle than the medium shade from the top (or the direction of light) is laid down, and then the lighter colour is dusted over the top of the model.

For late war German armour and soft skinned vehicles, this set has the three German dark yellow shades.

For the early war “Tin Panzers” and soft skinned vehicles these three paints show the variation form a darker grey to the lighter top colour – especially good on the angled vehicles of the German armed forces…

Preview - Great Wall Hobby, L4806 1/48 scale P-61A Black Widow “Clear Nose Version with Turret”

Airbrushes.com has revealed some new information about their newest kit release Great Wall Hobby– an updated and partially Re-tooled version of their 1/48^th Black widow kit they released last year this is the clear-nosed version of the P-61A Black Widow with a top turret.

As well as the expected new parts for this different version of the P-61, Great Wall Hobby has at the advice of the modellers in the community revised and re-tooled some of the parts of the kit – they are:
