The guys at Silver Wings
from Poland have given us the "go" on the news that their latest kit of the Italian CR.42 "Falco" (Rock Me Amadeus fame i think?) is on sale - we have some more images of the resin to add to the previous images we have seen with colour markings and details..
Silver Wings
are proud to announce their second all new kit for 2012 is on sale. This kit was chosen from the wishes of many Silver
Wings customers who all voted for this aircraft on a poll on their website –
Democracy in action!!
Consistently at the top of their customer’s request lists was
the winner by vote - the Fiat CR.42 - This will be
the latest kit to be released into their line of high-quality 1/32 resin kits.
The Fiat CR.42 had the distinction to be the last biplane
fighter of the Regia Aeronautica in WWII. Over 1,700 examples were built,
serving with Belgium, Hungary, Sweden and Germany in addition to its Italian
service. Along with the British Gloster
Gladiator, it saw combat as the front line fighter in the Mediterranean theatre
at the beginning of World War II, as well as a brief participation in the
Battle of Britain.
