Well some
people are getting off to a good start of the new year – Kagero are one of the early birds with no less than FIVE new titles

depth study of the famous “Immelmann” - and lastly a 3D title showing off the

SMI LIBRARY 05 - P-47 Thunderbolt with the
USAAF – European Theatre of Operations -Tomasz Szlagor
A photo
album showing particular examples of P-47 Thunderbolts which took part in air
battles over Europe. The 84 page book contains 93 b&w and 12 colour photos
with English and Polish captions. Four planes are presented on the beautiful
colour profiles painted by Janusz Światloń. The profiles are supplemented with
a decal sheet printed by Cartograf, which includes 1:32, 1:48, and 1:72
individual markings for the following planes:

03 - St.G 2 "Immelmann"

The third
title in the 'Units' series is devoted to the most famous Ju 87 unit:
Sturzkampfgeschwader 2. The 32 page book with English text includes a
chronological overview of the unit’s history supplemented with 51 photos;
tables of unit commanders, losses, and planes used; and colour profiles of 4
aircraft painted by Arkadiusz Wróbel. A decal sheet printed by Cartograf

Robert Griffin
A renowned
expert on British tanks, Robert Griffin, gives a fine account of all the gun
tank variants (Mk.1 to Mk.11). The author has described the history as only one
who has lived it can do. The book includes ORBATS (with callsigns) for a
Chieftain regiment in the early 1970s and again in 1989, plans for a Mk.3/3 and
a Mk11, and a fine selection of over a dozen colour plates of Chieftains in
British, Iranian and Kuwaiti service for the modeller.
