35152 “Soviet Marines and German Infantry, Hand-to-hand Combat,
1941-1942. Eastern Front Battle Series, Kit No. 2”
This kit consists of 5 figures. The story of the kit is
hand-to-hand combat between Soviet Marines and German Infantry and the kit
makes it possible to assemble 3 figures of Soviet Marines and 2 figures of
German Infantrymen. The poses of the figures are very naturalistic and dynamic.
The scale is 1/35th.
We would like to remind that 35152 “Soviet Marines and
German Infantry, Hand-to-hand Combat, 1941-1942. Eastern Front Battle Series,
Kit No. 2” makes up a story whole with 35153 “Soviet Marines, Attack,
1941-1942. Eastern Front Battle Series, Kit No. 3” and 35102 "German
Infantry Defence, Eastern Front Battle Series, Kit No. 1" kits that makes
it possible to make both a single big diorama and separate vignettes.
35165 "The German military bicycle,
WW II era"
This kit will be released in March-April 2014.
Bicycles were a
decidedly useful tool in WWII – the British, Japanese, US, Canadians –everyone
used them at some time. The Germans used them extensively – cheap, easy to make
– SS Kampfgruppe Peiper’s soldiers – known for their massive tanks like Tigers
and Panthers used their silent bikes very effectively during the Ardennes
campaign. What a good subject to make in injection moulded plastic!?
Obviously people liked to keep in shape during the war as well?? :-)
Here is a picture of a Spanish bicycle soldier from the Blue Division serving with the German Army outside of Stalingrad during WW2 (1942).
Masterbox plan to
release these to the market early next year. It is the German
Army’s bicycle. Kits have such arrangement that the kit could be released in
the most different configuration. In autumn this year only the model of the
German military bicycle (MB 35165 “The
German military bicycle, WW II era”) and one more model that is the model
of the German woman’s bicycle of the same period (MB 35166 “The German woman’s bicycle, WW II era”) will be released.
More CAD's
Both models will be equipped generously by the photoetched
parts. In future both models are planned to be used together with the figures
in the most various and interesting stories and dioramas.
These kits should be
available thru MasterBox’s distributors towards
the end of next month…The pushbikes next year March some time...
