What do the
meeting of paratroopers and semi clad ladies – along with Mrs Müller a
snickers bar and the town bike have in common? They are all new releases from MasterBox
this month – that’s what!
MasterBox’s new kits of
July 2014:
"US and German
paratroopers, the South of Europe, 1944"
1/35th scale
35157
It is
quite an original kit, in a send up type of way, the action of the kit is
taking place in the South of Europe, in 1944. Where two girls that are bathing
topless in the centre of the story, and a special appeal is given to the kit by
that US paratroopers are moving carefully to girls’ side from one side and
German paratroopers – from other side. Both sides have already caught sight of
girls, but they still do not see each other and it is not known how the situation will resolve itself...
The kit
consists of 6 figures, two of them are girls, two - US paratroopers
and two - German paratroopers. The figures are animated very well, in very live
poses and they interact with each other well. We will emphasize one more
peculiarity of the kit especially – each pair of the figures from the kit can
be used both as a single composition and separately for various independent
dioramas.
And the whole scene - add what you like to this diorama..(lots of puns i could think of in this caption)
"Here is
Snickers, help yourself, please!"
1/35th scale
Kit no:35159
The kit consists of 8 figures and it
represents a genre scene that is taking place somewhere in the East:
two US military men, members of the crew of the armoured vehicle, are
trying to establish kind relations with local children. The figures are
animated very well and interact with each other very well.
The peculiarity of
the kit is that the figures of the kit can become both an addition for creating
a large diorama with the use of the models of modern ground combat equipment of
various manufacturers and it can be the basis for creating an independent
miniature without the use of the models of equipment.
"German Military
Bicycle, WWII Era"
1/35th scale
Kit no:35165
The kit
contains a set of parts for the assembly of the model of German Military
Bicycle of WWII Era. The design of the model is projected with maximal
simplicity that secures comfortable and precise assembly, but at the same time
a very high degree of correspondence to the original is kept, and the presence
of the plate with photoetched parts allows making the model of museum class.
The PE parts..
The peculiarity of the kit is that several variants can be assembled from
suggested parts and these variants differ from each other very evidently, they
are Military Bicycle in standard implementation, Bicycle adapted for
transportation of machine gun, Bicycle adapted for transportation of mines and
Bicycle adapted for transportation of panzerfaust.
"Frau Müller.
Woman & Women's Bicycle, Europe, WWII Era"
1/35th scale.
Kit no: 35166
This kit is
both a good addition to dioramas with most various stories and it can be the
basis for creating an independent miniature. A set of parts allows assembling
the model of Women’s Bicycle of WWII Era that is walked by an elderly woman of
that period.
The model of the Bicycle is projected with maximal simplicity that
secures comfortable and precise assembly, but at the same time a very high
degree of correspondence to the original is kept, and the presence of the plate
with photoetched parts allows making the model of museum class, and the figure
of the woman looks very naturally and harmoniously.
Again the photo etched parts when added to the bike really bring the kit up to a top standard.
These four new kits
and all of their other great stuff can be seen on the Masterbox Website along with their Distributors Worldwide.
