This Cardan-transmission motorcycle, first built in 1950,
reached a peak of reliability and competitiveness in 1956 when it adopted chain
transmission and a telescopic front fork. The 500 cc 4-cylinder MV Agusta was
ridden by the world’s most famous racers - J. Surtees, M. Hailwood, G. Hocking
and G. Agostini. Thanks to them this near-unbeatable motorcycle dominated the
500 cc category from 1956 to 1965, winning 9 world titles. It continued
competing until 1966 when it was retired to make way for a new, lighter, more
manageable 3-cylinder motorcycle.
The model, pre-moulded in the original
colours and with chrome-plated parts, it also features working suspension and
rubber tyres.

Born on the reliable and proven Panzerkampfwagen 38t light
tank chassis, the Hetzer was set in the second half of 1943 to equip the German
Army with a light tank destroyer more cost effective than the bigger and
heavier Jagdpanther and Jagdtiger. The main features of the project were: a low
profile, a good armoured compared to the size, and a good fire power guarantee
by the use of the 75 mm. anti-tank gun. Furthermore, other important developing
drivers were the possibility to produce easily and at a low cost. The Hetzer
entered in service in the second half of 1944 and it was extremely effective
and lethal even against the most powerful Allied tanks.
