The B1 battle droid, sometimes referred to as the standard battle droids, was a model of battle droid manufactured by Baktoid Combat Automata and Baktoid Armor Workshop. Designed to resemble their Geonosian creators, the Trade Federation made extensive use of B1 battle droids and utilised them as their military force during the Federation's invasion of Naboo. Ten years later, the Federation provided B1 battle droid forces to the Confederacy of Independent Systems, which were used against the clone army of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. They were outlawed by the Galactic Empire in the wake of the destructive conflict.
During the Clone Wars, B1 battle droids were the most common form of battle droid. They would charge towards their enemies, firing their blasters. They had three fingers on each hand. They were vulnerable to EMP weapons, such as the electro-proton bomb. These battle droids were able to pilot and operate Single Trooper Aerial Platforms (STAPs) and Armored Assault Tanks (AATs).

You can depict this B1 battle droid also as the earlier model OOM-series battle droid. was the predecessor of the B1 battle droid. While physically identical to the latter, the OOM-series possessed more advanced and independent programming. They were already a common sight in the galaxy before the Invasion of Naboo, serving as security and crew for the Trade Defence Force. They later served in the Clone Wars alongside their more common but simpler B1 descendants. They were deployed during the Battle of Tirahnn.
OOMs could be programmed for a number of functions, each with a matching colour painted on the droid's body:
OOM command battle droid—yellow
OOM pilot battle droid—blue
OOM security battle droid—red
OOM rocket launcher battle droid—black

S.T.A.P. (Single Trooper Aerial Platform) are piloted by the B1 Battle Droid 12th Scale figure. It is a repulsorcraft used by the Trade Federation and later the Confederacy of Independent Systems. It was piloted by a single battle droid, and its role was reconnaissance and patrol. The S.T.A.P. was a slim, agile craft sporting a pair of blaster cannons, often deployed as support vehicles in conjunction with larger craft
