MENG is dipping into the WWII market in Royal style with a new model of the King tiger in 35th scale . Now the picture is clearer with the first kit in the flesh (well in CAD) that show a bit more of the tank than the fancy header...
Meng has taken the assistance of several noted King Tiger enthusiasts and also the Tank Museum at Bovington...
where we saw our own first King Tigers... ( Henschel & Porsche)
Here's what's new:
As we know that the MENG TS-031 German Heavy Tank Sd.Kfz.182 King Tiger(Henschel Turret) model kit will be available this October. Now we have got its latest images.
If you want your tank with Zimmerit, then the SPS-039 German Heavy Tank Sd.Kfz.182 King Tiger Zimmerit Decal will be sold separately. There are NO plans so far as we know for a Porsche Turret (we know that's not 100% correct terminology) - but we think it's just a matter of time...

The King Tiger looks like a king leading a powerful thrust for the German army.
The dynamic commander & loader are discussing the situation.
The link & length tracks are more realistic than vinyl tracks.
A metal barrel will be included in the first batch of kits as a bonus.
OK - so that's the update so far - more as we know it about this new kit from Meng - until then keep an eye on their website to see what's new.
