The largest production run was of these non-zimerrit coated King Tigers - so it kinda makes sense to get these into the market - with all the competition around it's a but of a race isn't it? We like the approach Takom has made - and this and other new variants are promised with a slight upgrade in an increased ease of making these kits - Takom have hinted at a further ease of assembly in these ongoing models. We will see what that means when we have them here in our hands.

In the latest (and probably the most viable commercially) release from Takom this company is breaking new ground – they want to get into the “Thick” of things in this release which features not just two Henschel King Tigers with a full interior and engine, but with correct scale thickness of the armour as well.

Both releases also feature a mix of plastic sprues, photo-etched details, individual, workable track links, a full interior, the hatches can be built open and closed and both have three variants depicted in their decal choices.
