Transit is a light commercial vehicles series produced since 1953 by Ford Germany and Ford UK and conceived for the European market. The front engine of these vehicles allows the operator to have a lower loading bed, which eases the loading process. Anyway, the very first Transit was produced in 1965 by the German and British Ford together, expressly wanted by Henry Ford; this cooperation gave life to what is Ford Europe today and to the well-known vehicle MK I. In 1978 it was further reshaped and the MK II was born. In 1984 an aesthetic restyling was made on the front bumper and to the engine, which was a 68 horsepower Diesel York of 2.5 L. These vehicles have been a commercial success not only in Europe, as still today they are in production also for extra-European markets.

LMV Lince, produced by Iveco in Bolzano, is the tactical vehicle more demanded at moment for its appreciated defence qualities against small arms, mines and IED. Developed to include all the main characteristics needed in a light armoured vehicle, the LMV Lince has reached the widest consensus from those who have used it. In many cases, the seat suspension system and the protective plate placed under the cabin have saved many lives, as they considerably reduce the damages during explosions. The sophisticated independent suspension system allows a comfortable travel even during the tough off-road use.
The vehicle is in use in many countries, especially in peace-keeping operations, also under the control of the United Nations. In Italy, it is used not only by Army but also by Air Force, Police and other special forces.

The B-52 Stratofortress is the most famous long-range jet-powered strategic bomber in the aviation history. Produced by the American company Boeing since 1955 it has been, for a long time, a symbol of the Cold War. It has been, for several years, the backbone of the United States Air Force Strategic Air Command. The B-52 has been produced in a significant number of versions that has gradually evolved the successful project to better answer to the changing in operational needs. The “G” version is the most produced B-52 variant and it has been delivered to the S.A.C. wings from the early 60s.

It has been characterized by a large number of changes implemented as a stronger structure, the adoption of new avionic systems and, important issue for a strategic bomber, the longer operational range thanks to the increased fuel capacity and the possibility to adopt external fuel tanks. The B-52G took also part in Operation Desert Storm in 1991.
