The 3rd Greater Sydney Scale Model Expo was held on the 17th-18th March at the Blacktown Leisure Centre in Sydney. This is one of the very popular modelling shows of the Southern Hemisphere, we have a gallery of some of the winners in today's photo report.

The Greater Sydney Scale Model Expo is a two-day event showcasing many aspects of plastic scale modelling. The expo includes a model competition, modelling demonstrations, vendors offering plastic kits, tools and accessories, second-hand kit sales and displays from various modelling clubs.

The Venue

Modelling Tutorials from some familiar faces were also held, Clayton Ockerbt held a demonstration each day of how to use, chip, and to weather with AMMO paints amongst many other hands-on demonstrations.

The Greater Sydney Scale Model Expo is a great opportunity to catch up with others in the hobby, discuss ideas and techniques, and chat to some of the country’s best model-makers.
