Wingspan Volume 3 features:
The third volume in our exciting series continues to showcase the increasingly popular 1:32 aircraft scale. The landscape format and large photos afford the opportunity to explore the models closely, and to truly appreciate the level of detail achievable in this scale. Full-page close-ups and overall views are combined with step-by-step instructions to depict each model to its full potential.
With the large landscape format that fits the profiles of aircraft natively, you can see each model in detail down to the last rivet, and serve as inspiration and guideline for your own future 1:32nd scale builds.
The ten 1/32nd aircraft included in this book.
The aircraft included in the kit include The Revell's Arado AR 196A-3, made by Mikael Terfors with Eduard and Master Modeller extras.
Trumpeter's F/A-18D Hornet, made this time by Henrik Redin with his "Bats" scheme two-seater. He adds some Aries, Eduard and True Details aftermarket to this kit.
The Hasegawa J2M2 Raiden is featured in the book - with custom made markings made from homemade masks and then weathered into this bright scheme.
Dirk Polchow's version of Wingnut Wings Albatross B.II kit is featured. There is not much to add to this kit - but the HGW, RB Production and Taurus, aftermarket we can picture adding just that final touch to this already great base kit.
Trumpeter's big Me-262B-1A two-seater is featured in a daytime training scheme which is not common - so of interest to many modellers out there no doubt.
The Special Hobby Tempest Mk.V kit is featured - This one made by Anders Isaksson. Anders adds a Barracuda Studios corrections and improvements and Scale aircraft Conversions landing gear to his model
Also included but not captured here in pictures are a 32nd scale Trumpeter P-47D Thunderbolt and the Trumpeter MiG-21UM Two-seater as featured on the cover of the book.
