A.R.T.O. Production is a new company making 1/35th scale resin figures of some very popular German subjects from WWII. We have scant information and links to where you can grab yours from if you are interested in our preview...
A.R.T.O. Production resin figures ar a brand not known to us before, but we have some information on four new products they are releasing and we have found a place where you can pick them up!
It seems that the people at A.R.T.O. Production pride themselves on getting the smaller details right. Those of the clothes, hair and appearance of these soldiers that are more typical to soldiers from that time, in the 1940's.
An example is a jacket on one of these soldiers - a U-Boat man's jacket originally, these were used by Germans soldiers and SS men into their own styles and sometimes adapted by unit tailors. It was initially used by only two Panzer Divisions, "1SS LAH" and "12SS HJ", in January 1944 until the Normandy campaign. From autumn in 1944, an increasing amount of elite divisions were given this jacket. From 1945, it was widely worn by SS and WH, included are the HG.
We have found all four of these new figures available on the 1999.co.jp website at a slightly cheaper pre-release price. (The pre-order has started today)

12th SS Armored Division "Hitler Jugend" 6th Squadron Private Guard #01
1/35th scale
This figurine is the first item in the 12th SS-Panzer-Division Hitlerjugend 6. Kompanie series, he is depicted wearing a slightly ill-fitting extra large-sized jacket. the reason for this was that many soldiers in the "Hitlerjugend" were mere boys with adult weapons and clothing, and this represents the soldiers fitting into the adult's shoes in a time of war...
Here is the picture that the sculptor used to create the soldier - complete with oversized jacket - in the red square here below...
Four simple parts cast in grey make the construction...
Here is the figure painted by Geunha Kim, he has captured all of the figure’s subtle and finer details making the figure come alive.
12th SS Armored Division "Hitler Jugend" 6th Squadron Private Guard #02
1/35th scale
The soldier is seen wearing the ‘U-Boat’ jacket that we saw earlier in this preview - this jacket was used by the Kriegsmarine during WWII is commonly known as the ‘U-Boat’ jacket. Also, worn by the Panzer Divisions for its ability to protect the body from fire - perfect for tankers and AFV crews. Distribution of this jacket to divisions were at different times which is something that must be considered.
The parts of the figure are simple cast but in very nice detail in light grey resin
