Food Delivery (A)
Special Edition large set
1 resin figure
Product No #NVA3511
1/35th scale
Figure by Giang le
Boxart Painted by TOHE
This figure set is dominated by the large Pachyderm - sorry, Asian male elephant that can be easily identified by the large pair of tusks he has. The resin sculpt by Giang le includes the elephant, the rider on his back in full NVA, Vietnam War era gear and the large bunch of stowage on his (the elephant's) back. This can be matched with the other female Elephant released also this month from Paracle (if you like).
You can see an example of one of the elephants used to supply the NVA and other fighters of the North Vietnamese, a natural mode of transport int he impassable terrain (well not completely impassable)
Food Delivery (B)
Special Edition large set
1 resin figure
Product No #NVA3512
1/35th scale
Figure by Giang le
Boxart Painted by TOHE
"Food Delivery B" is the alternate set of the elephant (sorry - Elephas maximum) complete with a similar set up of the rider and a whole bunch of food is again sculpted by Giang le. The 35th scale resin set is the second of the elephants from Paracel this week, and you can see she is a lady because of her finely manicured toes, also the fact she has no tusks... The NVA used many elephants on the Ho Chi Mihn Trail and many other areas during the conflict.
Paracel is also selling the Elephants as a single (male or female) and the figure
...and the stowage separately also...
As well as Baby" elephants (in 72nd scale)
These sets are now available from Parcel's distributors...
You can find out more about these figures and the rest of the range at the Paracel Miniatures Website
