In "RTS" the magazine examines the new 35th scale Challenger 2 TES from Ryefield Model with several pictures of the real thing compared to the kit - one of the best parts always of this magazine.
The first article features the "cover girl" of this magazine - the Soviet-made “BMD-3 IFV” kit from Trumpeter in 1/35th scale from the talented Cheng-Hsien Meng.
Straight from the sands of Israel comes the “MERKAVA MK.1 HYBRID” - a Takom kit in 35th scale made by Özgür Güner pretty much straight out of the box - a great model and finish are represented.
Japanese artist Kuniyuki Takeuchi is next with his heavily camouflaged “LEOPARD 2A6” in 35th scale. The kit from Border Model looks very nicely executed with all of the foliage draped to the hull and turret.
A handy guide from Pere Pla is next - about time he got involved! In “Painting the US ARMY OCP” Pere takes an H3 Models 3-D Figure and guides you through step-by-step on how to paint and detail him to a high standard.
A kit which we have not seen completed much - and we do not know whey when looking at this particular kit - the “BERGEPANZER 2” kit from Takom is undertaken by Diego Bruzzone. It really is a lovely result!
For a reference on modern tanks this issue we have the namesake of the magazine “Abrams News, references” where we look in detail at America's main battle tank in detail...
