DAK Panzer III/IV Kommandant 15.Pz.Div
From Arto Productions
1/35th scale
Figure No #35017
Sculpted by Gwangyeol Lee
Price: $28.81 USD
The first of ARTO's new figures is this exquisite Panzer III/IV Tank Commander from the North African Front during World War Two. This is a full-body figure, with photo-etched parts for his RT communications "cans" system.
You can see him in these photos from all angles, his heavy seems on his thick uniform tunic and pants and the wrinkles as they follow the form of his body. He is sculpted in a standing position in the Panzer cupola with each hand resting on the two piece hatch. He fits the image of a Panzer commander of the Afrika Korps with the large aviator goggles to fight the dust and the notable laced up boots commonly seen on soldiers in this theatre...
ARTO's original headphone Photo-etched additions are included with this figure, they fit the figure in scale and represent the RT device nicely.
SS-Uscha. Of The Normandy Front 1944, SS-Pz.gren.rgt.26, 12th Ss Panzer Division
From Arto Productions
1/35th scale
Figure No #35019
Sculpted by Gwangyeol Lee
Price: $25.21 USD
This Unterscharführer (or "Junior squad leader") of the 12th SS-Panzerdivision "Hitlerjugend" is seen in a casual pose, looking slightly up as he speaks, hand outstretched past his binoculars slung around his neck on his chest. He could be talking to a vehicle or Panzer commander, or a bunch of soldiers or comrades close to him. His hand could even be open in a smoking pose if you wish.
Again, we see the uniforms fold and wrinkle as its cloth and seems contour the man's body. The M43 helmet, covered with camouflage pattern cloth with thin chinstrap around his neck is notable. The pistol pouch on his rear hip and belt which cinch in at the waist down to his trousers, which fold over at the bottom showing the width of the material at the leg. He is another great study on the human body and the effect clothing and equipment has, portrayed very nicely in light grey resin.
