The first kit of the series of the Russian-Ukrainian War since the invasion in February from MasterBox has been released! Modellers have been eagerly anticipating new kits from Masterbox, and this one was on the top of their wish-list.
MasterBox has already announced several new kits featuring their soldiers as inspiration. But this set of four figures will come first.
Kit Number #35223 is called “Russian-Ukrainian War series. Defence of Kyiv, March 2022. Trophy. Kit No.1” – and is sculpted and produced in 1/35th scale.

This series of kits is dedicated to all countries and to all people of Planet Earth who supported Ukraine in protection from the barbarian invasion. Glory to Ukraine!

Earlier photos of this set from a preview we did a few months ago show the prototype figures in the flesh. These figures are not the finished articles that are just about to be released, but close to it!
The kit contains a frame with parts for assembling four soldiers of the Ukrainian army. These fighters have just finished clearing the territory left by the enemy and are happy to take pictures at the sample of Russian armoured vehicle they captured. We would like to note that the kit does not include a vehicle model and the modeller can choose which technique to use when making a diorama. It can be a tank, an armoured personnel carrier, an infantry fighting vehicle, Pantsir-S1, a truck, or even a destroyed fortification - your choice of course!
This soldier looks the part, with his AK and lots of combat gear in pouches and warmly wrapped. He still has a long fight in front of him!
The detailing of the kit is rich and allows you to place equipment on the figures in a variety of configurations at the choice of the modeller.
Shown from both sides, this soldier poses in front of their "trophy" with his RPG prominent. Maybe he has reloaded already? 😎
The figures are made at a high artistic level and are rather miniature sculptures. The figures are also animated perfectly and interact with each other well, making up a single plot, a whole story with the four figures int he one box..

If desired, the modeller can make both a vignette using this kit, and a larger diorama using kits 35226 and 35227 of the same series.
