GERMAN ARMY BPZ3 BUFFALO TANK RECOVERY VEHICLE

The BPz3 Buffalo is a tank recovery vehicle used by the German Army and others. The German Army used a BPz2 tank recovery vehicle based on the Leopard 1 tank, but with the deployment of the Leopard 2 tank, the accompanying support vehicle also needed to be updated; this vehicle was based on the Leopard 2.

The Missouri was put into service in 1944 as the third Iowa-class battleship. She participated in the Pacific War, and was used for the signing ceremony of the surrender document in September 1945. She became a reserve after the Korean War, but she was re-employed in 1986 and was active in the Gulf War, and is now moored as a memorial ship in Hawaii.

This model kit from Hobby Boss accurately and completely models the Missouri as she was seen during the Pacific War. She comes with two SC-1 Seahawks, a display stand, a nameplate, a machine gun and metal parts for the anchor chain, as well as photo-etched parts.
