IDF ACCESSORIES
1/35th scale
SKU: AK35006
14,95€
This set offers a large selection of accessories, which will be perfect complements to your Israel Defence Forces vehicle kits and dioramas. We’ve developed this kit with the 1970s-1980s era in mind, but a significant part of its contents is also useful for earlier and later periods.
Many of the included items are universal and usable for almost any scene you might wish to create. Inside the box you will find two plastic sprues comprising both the strictly military items such as the weapons (inc. different variants of the famous UZI, a Galil rifle and FN-MAG machine gun), various radios and vehicle antenna mounts, jerry cans for fuel and water, ration packs, food cans and pouches; as well as all-purpose items such as tool boxes, dishes, thermoses, spades, a mattock, a jack, a bucket, a gas stove, a drink cooler, etc.
The plastic parts are supplemented with a decal sheet featuring various inscriptions, stickers and logos, which was printed by the famous Cartograf. The last part of the set is a high quality printed sheet which contains different maps, newspapers and magazine covers.

Realism is usually the goal we modellers always want to achieve. It becomes very difficult as we have to bear in mind many details, but these small details are the ones that give our model its realistic appearance. Extreme Reality shows how this realism can be achieved in scale modelling. Follow the talented artists through a journey from models to real life. Divided in step-by step articles showing you from well-known techniques to some of them rare or even just made for its specific model.
A car graveyard, an abandoned swan boat, a paper excavator or some signs are just some of the things we can see in the book:

RUBBING STICK 3-5MM
SKU: AK9317
6,95€
Set with metal handle and 3 sponges of each size (3MM and 5MM).
This metal tool with different size sponges on the ends is designed to apply or remove weathering products with precision. Used to clean panel washes (Panel Line Cleaner) or place decals. The slanted tip of the sponges allows you to clean and work in hard-to-reach areas and do fine detailing. They are lint free and reusable. Simply wash them with universal thinner when the tip gets too dirty.
How to use:
Allow your panel wash to dry first before cleaning unless you wish to stain it.
1. Moisten (without saturating) the tip with a thinner or solvent suitable for the paint you want to work with.
2. Gently slide the tip in one direction along the surface to be cleaned or gently wipe off excess paint/pigment.
3. Keep the tip clean to avoid smudging, unless you are looking for a lightly abraded appearance.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the desired effect is achieved.
