African Rebels & new animal sets in 35th scale from Mantis Miniatures in April...

Last month we looked at a great new set from Mantis Miniatures of Delta Force operators and "Nightstalkers" chopper pilots from Operation Gothic Serpent, made famous in the movie "Black Hawk Down". This month, the follow up set from Mantis has arrived, with the Rebels in opposition of the US soldiers. These are seen in various conditions. We also have some new animals for your dioramas while they are at it!

Sculpted by Mr Szymczyk and cast in light grey resin. This 1/35th scale figure comes unassembled and unpainted, but looking pretty realistic compared to the many rebel soldiers we see in the movie, for instance. Seen with an RPG over his shoulder, he looks very skinny, and is dressed in pants and a T-shirt.

This younger child soldiers is again sculpted and cast in 1/35th scale. He carries both the machine gun belt (literally) and a spare RPG round over his shoulders. He looks rather placid, and in a non0action sene he would be perfect.
