Takom's new art exposes more than the CADs of their latest releases...

M29C Weasel
From Takom
Kit No: 2168
1/35th scale
Driver included
Two marking choices included in this kit
Photo-etch included
This is the same Weasel kit, but with parts added for the flotation devices used in wet and swampy areas especially. A driver figure is included here
Clear parts are provided for the windscreen and those small photo-etch parts for the smaller and thinner parts, plus the radiator heat guard/ shield. Link and length tracks are provided in the kit.

King Tiger "Porsche Turret" w/105mm KwK 46L/68 "2 in 1"
From Takom
Kit No #2178
1/35th scale
Link & Length tracks included
Photo-etch included
Clear parts included
Three marking choices in the box
CAD image we saw yesterday show us the two different barrel lengths provided. Apparently this was a proposed design only, with the two part ammunition being the real barrier, rather than the gun size. It was never adapted or made in any way.
We think it might be better described as the initial turret - but this type has those two barrel options, also the choice of the infra-red gear on top of the turret or the AA MG option.
Photo-etch grilles and parts are included, as well as clear parts for the periscopes. while the tracks are the link and length type.
Both plastic & metal barrel guns are included in the kit as well as the turret top options we discussed earlier.

IJN Aircraft Carrier AKAGI Island & Flight Deck - Pearl Harbour Attack 1941.
From Takom
1/72nd scale
Kit No #5023
Photo-etch & plastic kit
One marking provided
Popular right now yes? The Akagi's flight deck and tower are reproduced here in 72nd scale to match some of Takom's other Battleship guns. We think its a smart choice as you could source kits to populate the deck without breaking the bank or getting a new house to store it in.
The kit uses photo-etch to recreate some of the mesh on the island's equipment. You can see the more intricate parts in gold in these CAD illustrations.
The dimensions of the kit is well illustrated here...
The mattresses for ballistic protection are included here as a pat you can apply or not - the choice is yours, if you want to show the Akagi before the time of Pearl Harbour
Both sides of the kit to show the 360 detail

Hetzers - Early, Mid & Late
From Takom
Kit No's 2170X, 2171X & 2172X
1/35th scale
Photo-etch included
Link & Length tracks included
Hatches can be posed open or closed
Four markings included in each kit.
There is no Interior included in these kits, but otherwise they are exactly the same as Takom's earlier models we previewed & built on TMN

That is all we know about these releases for now. You can see more about Takom's kits on their website or on their Facebook page.
