MiniArt has updated & re0issued their 1/35th scale set "British Armoured Car Crew" in a Special Edition. We have seen these in the past (set 35069), and the usual resin heads for special editions weren't really needed here - the faces are plenty good enough in the painted examples that we have seen.

The previous set in art work and painted figures - pretty good already...

So what was added with this special edition?

In the kit, there are five figures, weapons & equipment  - and it is this edition of all sorts of weapons and equipment that make this a special edition.

Two sprues of the figures - Fie armoured car crew members in summer or spring clothing

For use in and outside the armoured car these crew often wore steel helmets, the net covered variant & bare metal helmet. Webbing packs for the front of the battledress harness, map packs, a pick, entrenching tools, bayonet/ knives are all on this extra sprue.

Two more smaller sprues here, with more steel helmets, goggle lenses and Webley revolvers, harnessed and unharnesses. The sprue below right contains more hand guns in harnesses and without, colt .45s a sniper rifle (of all things), binoculars and ammo pouches.
