The new kit built up MiniArt
MiniArt's new-tooled 1/35th scale M3 Stuart - Initial Production kit features - as it says on the tin, a complete with with all of the interior and six marking choices included in this first model. No doubt there will be another version without an interior if that is your wish, but it is so small who could resist?
We have a run down of the build sequence of the kit that was built up by MiniArt's staff recently. It shows us a lot more about what the kit is made of.
The radial W-670 Continental engine, the interior walls of the hull detailed, the driver's controls and the insides of the turret made up and ready to put together...
The crew compartment of the kit is already completed inside the hull walls.
The tiny gun in the turret and the full interior is installed here...
You can see the underside of the hull and the top of the hull here. Only a small amount of photo-etch being used.
A closer look at the front and the internal bay with the gearbox installed into the tank...
A closer view of the rear of the tank with the tools clamped o the deck and the aero engine inside...
Those dreading a fiddly construction with lots of photo-etch, take a look at the suspension and sides of this kit
ina diplay mode that one could use to show off the full interior of the hull and the turret...
The walk around of the completed kit...
You can see just a little with the turret off the top of the tank, a "brewed up" diorama or a repair scenario is possible with this full interior...
Lastly, we see the complete interior with the upper hull and turret removed...
This kit should be available next month from MiniArt's distributors worldwide. You can see more about this kit on the MiniArt Website...
