We look at some mortal combat, Daniel-less Mohicans & see a gold digger's loaded ass in Masterbox's two kits of May. We look at the two sets and the stories behind them in our preview...
Masterbox's three new sets from America's wild frontier in May
“The Mohicans. Mortal Combat. Indian Wars Series, the XVIII century. Kit No 7”
Kit No # 35236
1/35th Scale
4 figure set
Kit 35236 continues the series of kits dedicated to the events that took place on the territory of North America in the 18th century and are known in history as the French and Indian Wars.
The kit contains a plastic sprue with the parts for assembling 4 figures: they are two figures of the Iroquois Indians and two figures of the British Marines, and according to the story, it represents a mortal combat of the Iroquois Indians who attacked the British soldiers.
The figures are performed on high artistic level, they are animated greatly and allow both creating of the diorama according to the story proposed by the manufacturer and creating of your own stories up to using the figures separately.
In addition, this kit suits greatly for creating a more detailed diorama by using kit 35209, 35234 and 35210 that were released earlier.
“The Wild West. Adventures Series, kit No. 1. Gold-digger”
Kit No # 35233
1/35th Scale
1 man & his mule included in this set.
This kit begins new series of kits dedicated to the period that is shrouded in legends and filled with incredible and deadly adventures and fabulous stories of people who were able to become incredibly rich through persistence, courage and luck. True, at the same time, the same legends keep silent about thousands of others who were unlucky and who disappeared into obscurity, receiving nothing but suffering and disappointment.
The kit consists of two figures: a figure of gold-digger and a figure of his companion, a donkey, who not only follows his comrade everywhere, but also pulls his heavy equipment selflessly.
The figures are animated greatly and represent mini-sculpture made at a highly artistic level.
"The Mohicans. Indian Wars Series, the XVIII century. Kit № 6"
Kit No # 35234
Kit 35234 continues the series of kits dedicated to the so-called Indian Wars that raged in the forests of North America in the 18th century which now have disappeared. The kit is based on “The Last of the Mohicans” by James Fenimore Cooper, and if desired, the modellers can recognize their favourite characters in our figures.
The kit contains a plastic sprue with the parts for assembling 4 figures: two Indians, one white hunter and one white girl. The whole composition is very dynamic and conveys the tension and dynamics of the fight greatly.
The figures are made at a high artistic level and represent rather miniature sculptures. The figures are also animated greatly and interact well with each other, making up the single plot, the whole story.
Masterbox would like to emphasize especially that this kit fits perfectly with other kits of this series, such kits as 35209, 35210 and 35236, which we plan to release during 2024. This allows the modeller very wide possibilities: the modeller can create a small but very expressive miniature based only on this kit, or create a large-scale diorama using other kits of this series up to kit 35217.
