Today: Two schemes for your scooter:
We have another update on Magic Factory's new 48th scale USMC A-4M Skyhawk kit. This adds to what we have already seen so far in the CAD, detail drawings with features & what the Scooter carries. Today we look at the colours supplied in the kit...
The first scheme has been somewhat controversial so far, but Magic Factory has revised the colours and markings on this kit of BU 160024 from the VMA-131 Diomandbacks.
This well -known aircraft started off in this colourful livery before going low-vis in the early 90's
A-4M SKYHAWK / Bu. 158148, delivered to United States Navy as Bu. 158148 at Quonset Air Museum, North Kingstown, RI, 19??-2015. This airframe was acquired from scrap yard at NAS South Weymouth, MA and restored for static display. It now sits neglected after the museum closed... This scheme features the interesting black/white scheme split diagonally - even on the drop tank!

Included in this kit are exact 1/48th scale drawings for you to compare your colour schemes to.
The decals are from Cartograf, the industry leader in aircraft decals, so a good start for modellers already.
Included in the kit are the rear view mirrors in decal form also with a canopy mask.
That is all we know about this kit for now - Check out the Magic Factory Website & Facebook Page
