Trumpeter brings us a 1/16th scale model kit of the early version of the King Tiger, with the "Porsche" (so called by many) turret. This is a full-interior model kit that thoroughly reproduces the engine, transmission, and equipment inside the turret just like the actual vehicle. The hatches and torsion bar suspension can also be moved. Three frets of photo-etched parts and decals are included. The tracks will be movable, too, after assembly.

USS Midway which began construction in 1943 and entered service a month after its launch in 1945 and the surrender of Japan, was the first U.S. warship to bear the name of Midway, the CV-41, to commemorate the famous naval battle that turned the tide of the Pacific War. The Midway participated in a number of military operations, including the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Iranian hostage crisis, and the Gulf War, and was decommissioned in 1992 and decommissioned in 1997. In 2003, it was converted into a museum ship in San Diego.

The CV-41 Midway, the name ship of the U.S. Navy Midway-class aircraft carriers, is now available as a 1/350-scale model kit from Trumpeter. This is a slide-molded full-hull kit, with various anti-aircraft weapons and radar; it's reproduced with precision molds to reproduce her majestic appearance at the time of commissioning. Four frets of basic photo-etched parts, decals, and carrier-based aircraft (F4U and SB2C) are included, as is a stand for display.
