We all want to see great new aftermarket for our favourite kits. We look at more 3D printed wheels, intakes & figures in two scales from Gloria model in our preview.


Preview: Gloria Model's new 48th & 35th scale crews, prop & jet accessories

E.T. Model, under their sub-brand "Gloria", have recently released a raft of new 3-D printed figures and aircraft accessory sets for some of your props or modem jet projects in 48th & 35th scale. We have a brief look at them while we wait for more information in the form of the real items to come...

 USMC LHA/LHD Ground Crew Type 1)

This is a single figure of a pair of the USMC on a flight deck or field somewhere. He is 3D printed in 1/35th scale, so one would think he would be perfect for one of those modern helicopters in that scale that have been recently released, such as the Zulu Cobra from Academy.

The second marines sailor, standing idle with his hands suspended in his vest. He is also 3D printed in 1/35th scale. This figure is also available as a part of a set of two in 48th.

A pair of intakes, seamless to suit the F-4 Phantom kits from Tamiya are new also. These are designed to fit straight into the space inside the Tamia model for easy placement.


F-16 Fighting Falcon NSI "Smallmouth" One-piece Intake

The seamless intake fits the Tamiya F-16 (small mouthed) kits in 48th scale. The part is designed to be a drop fit in this kit.


 P-38 Lightning Sagged Wheels (Type 1)

The Tamiya kit in 48th scale will suit this set of new wheels, with diamond tread and eight spoked wheel hubs. The tyres are slightly sagged also.

A pair of sagged tyres and wheels for the F4U Corsair, with eight spoked wheels is included in this set. The tyres are slightly sagged, with a fit to suit the Tamiya kit in 48th scale. They would be great for the Magic Factory Corsair right now also.


P-40 Warhawk Sagged Wheels (Type 1)

The two main gear wheels and tyres for the P-40 Warhawk series that in this case suit the Hasegawa kit. (I am sure they can be used for other Warhawks and Tomahawks also). These have the diamond tread pattern and sagged tyres.


 B-25 Mitchell Sagged Wheels (Type 1)

The two main wheels and front nose wheel are provided in this set of nosewheels for the B-25 family. These are sagged or weighted, so they show the aircraft in that more natural pose. You can choose from spoked or plain covered hub front wheel boss.

The only challenge I found with the Gloria products was where to buy them. The retailers I found that had them listed was Hobbylink in Japan. & Hobbyeasy out of Hong Kong...
