Mantis Miniatures run the gamut of emotions with their five new emotion-filled face sets...

Mantis Miniatures new releases are five new head sets in 1/35th scale. Each of these sets show different emotions on the faces included (including one universal mix of them all together). Mantis have made the facial expressions strong and expressive enough so that the converted figures in the 1/35 scale actually show emotions visible to the naked eye. This sounds perfect - but there is an issue with head sets to fit your favourite figure, no three figures (in the same scale) seem to be the same size!

The problem with faces: no three figures seem to be the same...

However, there is one important thing that distinguishes these products from others, namely the two sizes of the heads - while both in the same scale.

These figures are in 1/35th scale, but they vary in ther size. It depends on the manufacturer, and more specifically on the sculptor, and this is a well-known problem. When purchasing any set of heads on the market, a modeler must take into account that the scale of them will not match the figures he already has. To meet customers' expectations, MAntis has doubled the number of heads in each set with a slightly different size. The box contains six different head made in two sizes, smaller and larger. So in total the customer receives 12 pieces. It is then almost certain that the purchased heads will fit various figures.
