Signs of Berlin & Parras on an Asino from D-Day Miniature Studio in July...

Pawel Krasicki from D-Day Miniature has several new sets and single figures available for sale this month. We will look at them in two stories, today, the first of this 3-D prints of German street signs from Berlin in 1944, the other, a pair of Fallschirmjäger  in Italy in 1943 in 72nd scale.

Kit No #72006
1/72nd scale
Sculptor & Box art: Pawel Krasicki
The set contains two resin figures and one donkey
Net Price: €16 Euro
These new figures in 1/72nd scale scale tell a little story. They are set in an Italian backdrop, with the house and road being the setting. A pair of Fallschirmjäger figures making their way through, one ahead, the other figure hunched over, wounded on the back of a donkey.
Shown from a few angles, you can see the detail of the figures are almost as detailed as their 35th scale figures, though not possible, there is plenty of detail here. The scene looks very good to us, even in that smaller scale (which really needs more attention from makers we think).

We must stress the house and roadside is the modeller's diorama for this boxart. In the kit you get only the two figures and a donkey.

Kit No #35248
1/35th scale
Sculptor & Box art: Pawel Krasicki
Two 3-D printed resin street signs with decals included
Net Price: €18 Euro
This is the first 3-D printed accessory from D-Day Miniatures. Shown below are some of the refference photos used by the 3D Designer Kacper Gaber in making these. The photos of some well-known streets that all have that symbol of the Berlin bear and posess the correct shapes.
We could not find the period correct Potsdamer Platz sign, but have it on good authority these were researched pretty heavilly. We like the inclusion of the decals also.
The bear on wrought iron, the same font in the decals, these two make a good and easy set that add authenticity to your Berlin street, before, during or after WWII...

If you would like your own copies of these figures, you can order them via the D-Day Miniature Studio website.
