This new 1/16th scale kit from Miniart depicts a Macedonian Guards Officer from the 3rd century B.C. This new sculpt captures the intricate details of the warriors of ancient warfare, showcasing authentic armour, a beautifully designed shield, sword, spear, and other gear that recreates the distinctive style of Macedonian military leaders of the third century BC.
The kit includes decals for additional decoration and offers a realistic build experience. Ideal for history enthusiasts and modellers, this figure is perfect for creating a striking display of ancient military power. Add this piece of history to your collection and bring the Macedonian empire to life.
Three sculpts for this figure's head are on the sprue, with a bearded and smooth-faced soldier, shouting and moth closed.
The nekked buttocks are covered by his armoured skit, while his knees down are covered with greaves to the ankle.
The armoured skirt, or Pteruges (also spelt pteryges; from Ancient Greek πτέρυγες (ptéruges) 'feathers'), are strip-like defences for the upper parts of limbs attached to the armour and included here on this sprue. These amll sprues house the paaded chest armour and the Macedonian pike (sarissa) with replaceable types of the spearhead. His Phrygian helmet, also known as the Thracian helmet, was a type of helmet that originated in ancient Greece. We noticed he can have his face shield either on or off, and that his short dagger is included here on these smaller sprues.
His curved sword with sheath, his hair addition for his helmet, and his right arm are included on this sprue. The straps and fasteners are included on two sprues.
The left arm and Argive Shield (pelta) are included on this sprue.
A base is included for this figure also.
The painted decal is included on the decals here.
