The USS Donald Cook (DDG-75) is a guided missile destroyer commissioned by the United States Navy. This vessel is an Arleigh Burke-class warship, specifically the 25th destroyer of its class and the 14th constructed at Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine. Construction of the ship commenced on July 9, 1996, and it was subsequently launched and christened on May 3, 1997. Following a period of commissioning, the USS Donald Cook was officially inducted into service on December 4, 1998, at Penn's Landing Pier in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In 2012, the Secretary of the Navy announced that the ship would be one of four vessels to be homeported at Naval Station Rota, Spain, with the Navy confirming its arrival for mid-February 2014. As part of Destroyer Squadron 60 in Rota, the USS Donald Cook plays a significant role in the naval operations of the region.
