M1280 LMTV (Light Medium Tactical Vehicle) is part of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) family developed by Oshkosh Defense for the U.S. military. Its designation is part of a modernised program to replace aging High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs) with more capable and survivable platforms.
