German tank crews of late WWII were becoming a bit of a mixed bunch by 1944. What experience they had at the start of the war had been largely eroded away in losses in the east, so that only a small core of veterans still remained, with a large group of young recruits making up the remainder. Often commanders who had survived until this point in the war were paired with very young crews to make the numbers needed. These young men grew up fast on the western front in 1944.
Especially in warmer climates, the leathers and the tight clothing that were a constant in the early war gave way to camouflaged tunics and soft hats or visors over the bump caps Panzer crews wore during the initial France and Western campaigns. These soldiers from MiniArt are seen in such latter war tanker uniforms.

MiniArt's new set number #53015, "Panzer Crew, France 1944 - Resin Heads," is a re-issue of their earlier kit with the same name, but this time upgraded with new resin heads from their great new sculptor. These will add to the currency of this kit, which has been out of print for a while now.

They come on four sprues in the box. One figure to each sprue. Interestingly, you cannot see the original heads in these sprue shots!
Resin heads are included to improve on the earlier set from a few years ago. These are designed to fit into the neck joint of the constructed figure as a drop-in replacement.

This kit will be released next month. You can see more about this kit on the MiniArt Website...
