The Scania S series—a key player in the industrial and heavy commercial vehicle market—has been designed to meet long-range logistics and transportation needs. The new S series was introduced by the famous Scandinavian manufacturer to the market in 2016 and included new innovative design solutions. Key design features were incorporated to optimize the use of the space inside the cabin to enhance driver comfort, and greater attention was afforded to more modern ‘active and passive’ safety systems to aid driver control and overall vehicle management. 

The decals supplied in this kit include fifteen different number plates from alternate countries.

Reflective stickers are included for the mirrors and chrome surfaces.
The kit features new fully detailed cabin and interiors - a fully detailed v8 engine; openable driver door; openable radiator grill - cromed adhesive photo-etched parts; rubber tyres; color instruction sheet; super decals for two versions

The attractive and contemporary new design also reflected the modern aerodynamics of the vehicle and its reduced fuel consumption targets. The Scania S770 4x2 "Normal Roof" with compact cab and the ”Highline” version with the oversized cab are the industry ‘road tractors’ produced by the famous Scandanavian manufacturer of heavy commercial vehicles, with both versions offering excellent options for differing professional and operational requirements.

Dassault Mirage F-1 was developed to replace the renowned delta-wing supersonic fighter, the Mirage III, which had established the French aviation industry as a global benchmark in the 1960s. The Mirage F-1, in its fighter configuration, entered service with the French Air Force at the end of 1973 and, within a few years, replaced the earlier Mirage III fleet. Unlike its predecessor, it features a swept-wing design, which significantly improved its flight performance and manoeuvrability.

Over the years, the Mirage F-1 evolved through continuous upgrades in onboard electronics, avionics, and weapon systems, enhancing its operational longevity. The aircraft also achieved significant commercial success, being adopted by numerous air forces worldwide to equip their fighter squadrons.

The twin-engine air superiority fighter Sukhoi Su-27K "Sea Flanker," later renamed Su-33, is the carrier-based variant of the renowned Sukhoi Su-27. This naval version, while retaining the Su-27's exceptional operational performance and striking aerodynamic design, was developed and engineered to operate from the Russian Navy's aircraft carriers.

To fulfill this role, the aircraft underwent structural modifications to strengthen its airframe and landing gear, making it suitable for naval operations, including the addition of an arrestor hook. The newly designed folding wings also optimized storage capacity within carrier hangars. Initial operational activities took place in the mid-1990s aboard the Admiral Kuznetsov.

The M43 105/25 "Bassotto" self-propelled gun was developed by the Italian industry to enhance the offensive capabilities of the armored vehicles and self-propelled artillery of the Royal Italian Army. The M43 was based on the modified, widened, and lowered chassis of the M15/42 tank and was equipped with an Ansaldo 105/25 howitzer mounted in a casemate. Its armor and frontal shielding were also improved.

The marking choices in this kit
It entered service in a limited number of units in 1943 and took part in operations on the Italian front. It is considered the most powerful Italian armored vehicle used during World War II, effective in both offensive and defensive actions due to a good balance of mobility and firepower. After Italy's armistice, several units were captured and successfully employed by German troops, who renamed the "Bassotto" as "StuG M43 mit 105/25."

The F-16 Fighting Falcon, produced by the American company General Dynamics since the late ‘70s, is a real icon of military aviation history. It was originally developed, according to the United States Air Force need, to provide a modern and effective single-seat air superiority day fighter. However, the project has progressively evolved and created an all-weather multirole aircraft able to have extraordinary operational flexibility. The F-16 is characterized by an original design easily recognizable by the frameless bubble canopy, which guarantees great visibility to the pilot.

The F-16 adopted innovative solutions such as the side-mounted control stick, the “fly-by-wire” control system, and modern avionics to enhance flight and combat performances. Appreciated by the pilots for its great manoeuvrability and reliability, the “Fighting Falcon” is armed with a 20mm M61 Vulcan internal cannon. Thanks to its hard points and location, it can mount a huge range of offensive weapons, such as missiles and bombs. The F-16 has been adopted by a lot of air forces around the World and used, often with great effectiveness, in several operational theatres

Leopard 2 A4 - WAR THUNDER

Entered into service between the late '70s and early '80s, the Leopard 2 is considered one of the best armored vehicles in the world. It has been developed to offer the German “Bundeswehr” a powerful and modern Main Battle Tank able to replace the Leopard 1. The main armament is the 120mm. Rheinmetall L/55 smoothbore gun.

Despite its heavy armor, the Leopard 2 is able to reach a significant speed of 65 km/h, and it has good performance on every kind of terrain. From the first versions, the MBT has been constantly improved and updated. The Leopard 2 A4, one of the most widespread version, is adopting an advanced fire control system and modern hi-tech materials able to increase the protection capability. A part of Germany, the Leopard 2 was able to achieve a good commercial success in many countries, such as Holland, Turkey, Austria, Greece, and many others.
