Coming, ready (to launch) or not!! Eva Model's new 48th Super Hornet landing gear...

A new model company, Eva Model Kit, has produced two very nice-looking landing gear sets for Meng's 48th-scale Super Hornet/Growler kits. To explain it to you quickly, one set has a retracted launch bar & one has an extended launch bar. Several individual parts & sharp detail make these an interesting proposition. While both of these sets are for the Meng series of Super Hornets and Growlers in 48th scale, one, this first one, has a retracted launch bar, so it can be depicted in either parked or taxiing around.

The front gear is shown here in several CAD illustrations. This set has the nosewheel retracted for taxiing or static aircraft.

The rear gear is just as detailed and impressive.

This set is also for the 48th scale Meng series of Super Hornets and Growlers. This second set shows the bar that connects to the launching mechanism on the catapult down, in place, and ready to be launched.

The front gear is shown here in several CAD illustrations. This set depicts the aircraft at the "cat," ready to be launched.

Again, the detailed rear gear (all of these with weighted wheels) looks great in these CADs.
